This is a regular tavern with rooms in the back which are used to live in. On the first floor there are a couple of rooms where people can rent a room. The building was of Yuan Rui's mother, but she died of illness and now his stepfather runs the place. Yuan Rui both works and lives here, so you'll usually find him around here.

The tavern was filled with travelers and regular customers, as the icy wind forced everyone to find a place to seek shelter. On every table there were some candles and many stood close to a comforting fire that burned in the corner. The mood was cheerful, as it seemed there was no fighting because of the weather outside. Rui and the others had no time to relax though.

"Hei An, get your ass back up here and give those 4 men at table 9 their meal and some tea. They don't come here to starve waiting for their food!" roared Qian who stood there with the cook who constantly removed the sweat from his forehead. "And you girls," he shouted at the 4 girls who played some music and danced with the rhythm gently, "play something more wild, this isn't a palace!"

He made some gestures to wards the other waiters and waitresses, drank up his wine and went to the backroom . Yuan Rui frowned when he delivered the large meals, which is why he had to walk twice to them to give their wine too, before getting the next order done.

A few soldiers stood at the fire, laughing and watching the girls who seemingly didn't knew any 'wild plays'. When they tried it, suddenly one of the strings of a girls instrument broke, and their fell a silence. One of the soldiers, probably the captain walked to the girl who wanted to repair it and grabbed the instrument.

"Right, I think you destroyed the mood here. We might as well destroy the reason too." Throwing the instrument on the ground, it was now unrepairable. His men looked at their leader, who now began to laugh, and they laughed with them.

summary: Yuan Rui working as waiter around, the owner goes to the living part of the building after ordering around, some newly hired girls play, dance and sing but then one breaks an instrument, and a soldier destroys the instrument completely.

The girl was about to cry, while her friends comforted her and removed the instrument from the ground. One of the other customers interfered, asking if they wouldn't give her some money for the damage they did, but instead of apologizing the captain wanted the girl to apologize to them.

The people started to talk, some even agreeing with the soldiers, and the girl was about to offer her excuses, until one of the new waiters walked to the drunkard and politely asked him to leave the tavern with his companions. The man however had no plans of leaving and pushed the old waiter (new old waiter lol ;P) away.

“But I haven’t finished my drink yet! Come on, let’s all have some fun, nothing special happened here anyway.” Having said that he returned to the rest and didn’t cause anymore unrest. Huang Tu, the old waiter who had told Zhong Qian he had worked in more then 10 Inns or taverns and he would be a good add experience. However it was not enough experience to make the drunkard leave.

Yuan Rui went to the girl and helped her clean up the pieces of the instrument, while the others went to play happy songs which children learned at a young age, which the captain seemed to like as he didn’t made any other remarks.
“How will I have to work here now, I can’t sing or dance.” She said sad to Rui. He sighed, like she didn’t knew anything else to come up with.
“Look, our boss here will surely pay for a new instrument, and you’ll be able to continue to work to pay off the debt. You should tell him right away of this.”
She then stood up and said relieved “Oh thanks a lot, I hope he’ll do that for me.”

Heading off to the back rooms, she turned around and bowed to Hei An who went to throw the remnants away outside.

[previous RP ended. starting new one]

Cao Cao in the end conqured Chang An. This was good news for Zhong Qian, who thought he would be getting more customers now there was some peace. He had been standing in the streets, cheering as the armies of Cao Cao moved through and occupied the city. Several others were cheering as well, but still some were frowning, expecting not more from Cao Cao. And then there were some who didn't cared at all, like Yuan Rui. Whoever was in charge here, he thought, he didn't like Chang An and he wanted to go out there and see more from the country, instead of living with Qian.

He was sitting in the tree he used to sit in as a child, with a view at the walls of Chang An. It was afternoon and he actually had to work, but he had left the tavern and now was watching travellers pass. Some looked at him and started to laugh, look confused or looked away not-interested. Today will be the day, he thought, while drawing the sky, where huge clouds passed, making him feel small. Today he would become a traveler too, working only temporary at places, he was sure there would something he could do to earn some money.

[posting this to remind me, in short Yuan Rui makes his leave of the tavern and accidentally sets it on fire which makes it more sort of a flee. He would travel to the capital and meet Yuan Shao there.]

[gosh I really have no inspiration atm :(]

Having arrived in Luo Yang Yuan Rui started to search for a job or a place to stay. But there was few work which was paid for. Besides that Hei An had not so much experience, with the exception of 'waiter' experience. When he was looking in the area of the eastern gate he saw a large convoy. A rich family seemed to be moving. Curious if he would find work here he walked to someone who was organizing and shouting at workers.

"Excuse me, could you use a couple of hands extra?" He said politely.

The man frowned and observed Rui while touching his beard. "Got plenty of hands to be honest, though we seek some who can write still, are you capable of that?"

Hei An smiled. That didn't seemed too hard work actually. He nodded. "Writing is no problem, and if you want I can draw anything for people who can't read."

"You probably won't be writing for people who can't read, but nice to know anyway, you're in, I just need to know your name, and if you have your stuff packed soon enough, as you see we are moving. Yuan Shao is leaving the Han court too, and now travels to the North." The man shrugged, as he anticipated Rui would ask why.

"Yuan Rui is the name, sir," Hei An said while making a short bow and showing respect with his hands, "and I was on the move, looking for a place to stay, so I have all my stuff packed already."

The man grinned, while shouting to some guy not to stop working if he is not watching. "Ahh, you're a Yuan, then I guess you should see mylord himself, since he would believe you are somehow related and will make a fuss about you and blame me for giving you this job."

With a nod and a thank you Yuan Rui walked out of the gate, moving towards the front of the long convoy.
